July Contest Winner Announced

During July we had some wonderful yarn reviews submitted. We will be posting these so everyone can share.

Now for the winner! Jieun, who hails from the USA, was the winner in our random drawing. Here is the yarn review she submitted:

Yarn: Louisa Harding Kimono Angora Pure (70% angora, 25% wool, 5% nylon) Gauge: 22 sts/4" on US6 Yardage: 125 yds/25 g Colorway: 12 (grey-blue) Project: my own; cabled scarf When I first petted this angora-blend yarn, I was struck by two things. (1) I marveled at the light-as-air, lofty nature of the yarn. (2) I was disappointed by the not-very-luxurious, nylon-y feel of the yarn. However, upon finishing the scarf, I was amazed by the lightness and loft of the finished scarf. The fuzzy angora will be soft on the wearer's skin, and keep her very warm throughout the winter. Louisa Harding Kimono Angora Pure will produce a delightful, fuzzy fabric, much like the fur of the fuzzy angora rabbits that produce the fiber.

She has been emailed and when she lets us know her choice of The Loopy Ewe or Webs gift certificate we will post it here. Hopefully Jieun will let us know what she selected with her prize and how she plans to use it!

Again, thank you to all who participated in our July giveaway and good luck in our new August contest.
